About – Blitz GT is a vehicular battle game. Battle 4v4 with unique characters and abilities to score points, take down opponents and secure the win. This project was made with Little Chicken Game Company.
The Brief – Develop game-ready models of the cars based on concept art provided by the art team. Ensure a style consistent with the art direction and set up the models for in-game deformation and destructible parts. Consistent UV maps and texture sets are required for adding skins and customisations.
Time – Cars were developed over multiple sprints of two weeks. Eventually parts could be re-used and production could be sped up.
Work – During the project my responsibilities grew from modeling, texturing and implementing to encompass more parts of the system for cars in the game. Collaborating closely with the team, we developed a system to ensure quick iterations, efficient leveling up of cars, and the creation of unique skins. This role allowed me to blend artistic creativity with technical proficiency, resulting in high-quality, visually compelling vehicles.
